Location: Blish Park Marlborough, Connecticut. Blish Park is located on Park Road off of North Main Street. Follow Connecticut Route 2 to exit 12.
Divisions: There will be 8 divisions broken into Men and women; Ages 35 and younger and 35 and older; Wet Suit and Non Wet Suit.
Cost: Your first event is $25 and each additional race is $10. Online registration is available at www.newingtonbike.com . On-site registration begins at 6:30 am and will continue through the morning for each event.
Race Date and Start Time: Sunday August 5th. The 1 mile swim start begins at 7 am. The 2 mile swim start begins at 8 am and the 3 mile swim start begins at 10 am.
Amenities: Racers will be provided with a swim cap and towel. Times will be posted at wwww.newingtonbike.com. A pancake breakfast will be provided to racers and spectators for a nominal fee. Proceeds from the breakfast will also go towards Marlborough Parks and Recreation.
Course Description: The course will be one mile in length in the shape of a diamond. Volunteer kayakers and town lifeguards will be on hand to provide support and a floating water station featuring Hammer Nutrition will be provided at the point.
